Techno-pop and electronic-rock sensation Republica embarked on a hiatus in 2001, only to reunite in 2008. Following a series of electrifying performances, the band returned to the studio to craft a brand-new single titled “Christiana Obey.” In response to management’s request, I designed a promotional mini jacket and an accompanying jewel case for sale during the band’s tour and online.

For the mini jacket, I curated PR information and additional mixes of the single to enhance its promotional impact. Additionally, the jewel case cover showcased a minimalist band photo, while the double inlay featured a captivating “broken mirror” image—a symbolic nod to the title track’s exploration of beauty and reflection. Building on Republica’s iconic aesthetic, I maintained the tradition of using the color red on CD singles, infusing the design with a timeless yet contemporary flair.

Moreover, Republica’s enduring legacy was further solidified when their 90s hit single “Ready To Go” was prominently featured in the trailer for the blockbuster film Captain Marvel. This project exemplifies my ability to seamlessly blend creative vision with strategic marketing objectives, resulting in impactful design solutions that resonate with audiences.
