Hello, I’m Adam. I design stuff like

graphics & websites

I am passionate about graphics, marketing and social media. I am often inspired by the simplicity of typography and have worked with a wide variety of people ranging from artists, actors, business owners, photographers and more!

From a young age, I loved television, movies, and my plastic 90’s lunch boxes. I may have briefly rocked a Ninja Turtle fanny pack, hey, it was the ’90s! Much of my passion for graphic design comes from the feeling of nostalgia and the simplicity of my favorite things -products, songs, movies, shows and being excited and inspired by them. It seemed only natural that what I love and am inspired by would turn into a passion through design.

I took computer courses, art and graphic design throughout my entire academic career. My passion prompted the school district to implement an advanced graphic design and web class for me and future students. I was also an intern at AutoDesk, Inc in my senior year of High School. I graduated college in three years with a Bachelor of Science and was on the Dean’s List on multiple occasions.

Since 2002 I have been fortunate enough to work with a variety of people including AutoDesk, Marla Sokoloff, Veruca Salt, Humble Abode, Evolove, Sacramento Horror Film Festival, Dewey Cheaters Vodka, Seafloor Systems, Kimberly J. Brown and more. For me the most rewarding aspect of design is not only the creative process but being part of something outside myself and sharing it with the rest of the world. One of my more ridiculous skills includes identifying fonts in the outside world, “Hey – isn’t that font Dragonwick?”

Why the name Super Colossal? It’s inspired by the Peanuts special “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
